Performing Credit Opportunities Fund- Series I

A five-year Close-End Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF), it will invest in high yielding debentures in addition to mezzanine securities primarily to mid-market companies in India with sales / revenues between INR 250 – 5000 cr. backed by a combination of business cash flows, promoter assets, guarantees share pledges and other security structures as may be relevant. Some of the sectors that the Fund will focus to generate deal flows will include Pharma, IT Services, Education, Hospitality, Healthcare, Infrastructure and Manufacturing.

Primary Product Focus
  • Investing in primarily credit instruments issued by growing Indian corporate; the fund will target growth capital opportunities, capex, working capital requirement, last mile capex, bridge financing opportunities etc.
  • Estimated Asset Cover: At least 1.5x the value of principal loan amount on the fund’s valuations. Security shall include monitisable hard assets, tradeable listed equity shares, pledge of controlling stake of other businesses ( other than borrowing entity) of promoters
Geographical Focus
  • Predominantly South India – Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana.
  • Opportunistic investments in Maharashtra and Gujarat.
Deal Metrics
  • Ticket Size: ~INR 100-150 cr approx.
  • Listed/ Unlisted investments in Non-Convertible Debentures
  • Single company exposure: Expected to be ~10-15%
