Mr. Harsha Viji - Chairman

Mr. Harsha Viji presently serves as Executive Vice Chairman of Sundaram Finance Limited. He earlier served as Deputy Managing Director and Executive Director (Strategy & Planning) of Sundaram Finance and as the Managing Director of Sundaram Asset Management Company.

Mr. Harsha serves as a director on the boards of several companies. He has a total experience of over 21 years wherein he has worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers, McKinsey & Company and Sundaram Finance Limited in different capacities.

Mr. Harsha is a Commerce graduate, qualified Chartered Accountant and Master of Business Administration from the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan.

Mr. Vikaas M Sachdeva - Managing Director

Mr. Vikaas M Sachdeva is an industry stalwart with over three decades of experience in the Asset Management business. He is currently the Managing Director of Sundaram Alternates, driving growth across different platforms, geographies and asset classes.

During the course of his career, he has held several influential and senior management positions across marquee financial service organizations. He has a broad range of interests across functions like global and domestic sales, investment management, digital and physical distribution, marketing, HR and customer service.

Starting his career in asset management as one of the founding members of Birla Sun Life International AMC Ltd., Vikaas has been instrumental in turning around companies like ING Investment management in India. He was the CEO of Edelweiss Asset Management Ltd., successfully turning around the business culminating in the acquisition of JP Morgan MF in India. He has also been the Global CEO of Enam Asset Management Ltd., where he oversaw both the global and domestic side of the business.

Among his industry affiliations, he has been an erstwhile member of the Mutual Fund Advisory Committee (MFAC), a high-powered committee appointed by SEBI to advise them on governing the MF industry. He was also on the board of the Association of Mutual Funds of India (AMFI), heading the ETF and indexing committee, which submitted the first white paper on ETFs to SEBI. More recently he was associated with the Asset Managers Roundtable of India (AMRI), the nodal body for FPIs in the country.

Vikaas is an active Fintech enthusiast and is currently on the Advisory Committee of India FinTech Forum.

Mr. Lakshminarayanan Duraiswamy - Director

Mr. Lakshminarayanan Duraiswamy is currently the full-time Director of Sundaram Home Finance Ltd. He was the Chief Operating Officer of Sundaram AMC till March 2019. He was with Sundaram AMC since 2009, and has a total experience of over 25 years in the financial services sector. Prior to joining Sundaram AMC, he worked for Citibank and GE Capital in India and in Australia in various risk management roles.

Mr. Lakshminarayanan is a commerce graduate, qualified Cost Accountant and Master of Business Administration (Loyola Institute of Business Administration, Chennai).

Mr. Arvind Sethi - Director

Mr. Arvind Sethi has a total experience of over 34 years in the banking and financial services sector. He has served as Managing Partner of CAP-M Consulting India Private Limited, Managing Director of Tata Assets Management Limited and Managing Director of Bank of America (Global Markets). He has also held senior level positions at ANZ Grindlays Bank and HSBC. He serves as a director on the boards of several companies. He has been a member of RBI's Technical Advisory Committee on Foreign Exchange.

Mr. Arvind is a Master in Arts (Honours) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (Oxford University).

Mr. Karthik B. Athreya - Director

Mr. Karthik Athreya, Director and Head of Strategy for Alternative Credit, is a financial services professional with over 22 years of experience across principal investing, funds management, investment banking, corporate finance, assurance and transaction diligence services. He heads Sundaram Alternates’ (SA) private credit team which, in a short span of 5 years, manages assets over USD 225 million. Prior to SA, Karthik led the India business of Clearwater Capital Partners, a pan Asian special situations fund since 2007 and oversaw over a billion dollars of investment in India across secured lending, offshore private credit, deep restructurings, private equity and real estate investing. He was instrumental in the set up and build out of Clearwater’s high yield Assets-backed lending NBFC platform that built close to USD 400 million balance sheet profitably. Prior to Clearwater, Karthik was a founder employee and a Director of Investment Banking at YES Bank. He worked as a Director in the Investment Banking business of Rabo India Finance, a subsidiary of Rabobank Netherlands. Prior to this, Karthik worked in the Corporate Finance group of Arthur Andersen and with PricewaterhouseCoopers in their assurance & transaction advisory business.
